We sell the BlackJacks with Suzuki, Yamaha, and Evinrude motors. Give me a call (433-7019) or pm me and i will go into some details with you if you are interested.

Go with a sea fox you can get a 24 footer for loaded for just over 50k. The 2 feet makes a big difference

The 24 Yellowfin is a lot more! It was between the YF and the BlackJack for me. The price of the 24 YF I put together was $25,000 more than the BlackJack I just ordered, and that included the guide discount from Yellowfin. The 24 YF has really gone up in price from a couple years ago. 25 grand is more than a little difference in price to me, to some people it may not be. My new BlackJack should be ready by next week!

I dont think anyone in the market for a blackjack would look at a sea fox. Not the same caliber of boat in my opinion.

I've been through a couple of yf already yes the price might be a little more then the other brands but the quality is a lot more then the other brands also. I had my first yf for 18 months it was an 09 with a 300xs loaded on options. I had 300 hours on it. A guy called me I never advertised the yf for sale and asked what I wanted for the boat I told him what I paid for it. He showed up at my house that weekend test rode the boat wrote me a check for what I paid for it 18 month before
Now on my new yf I have already had offers for more than 20,000 dollars more than what I paid for this new 24 yf with f350 on it. The only thing that has stopped me from selling is the wait for a new one I still have offers all the time.

Yeah, I doubt that'll ever happen. Bill Kenner is making great money with his 22'. In my opinion, he'll never make one.

coastalobsession 08-05-2012 08:36 PM

Blackjack is a nice boat. But if I had 60k burning a hole in my pocket and was in the market for a v-haul then I would go place an order on a Trans Sport XLR8 that would be pretty well loaded for that price. Also the XLR8 is heck of alot faster. A 2208 with a 300 Yamaha Vmax will touch 74. Plus Frank and Donny will take care of you there. Service is top notch.

May be a nice boat, but that rising bow will kill you and your back on our lake. Blackjack is in a different class than Tran boats. Finished hull vs a rolled edge. Plus, one doesn't buy a blackjack for speed. They buy for the fit and finish of a high quality boat.

Just my opinion...

I agree, I have said it before if Haynie wasn't such a good "guide" boat and low maintenance I would be in a BlackJack!

I heard rumors of a 23ft Frontier in the works and just called K2 to confirm. The person that I spoke to said that the only new hull in progress is the 25ft BlackJack which would be out by the end of 2013 if production goes as planned.

"W" 08-06-2012 03:18 PM

25ft BlackJack is like Saquach .... You read about it, u hear about it, you talk about it but one never sees it!!

Squatch is real!! Nah, I hear you but can only go by what the person on the phone said. I was more interested in the 23ft Frontier.....

Big Kahunaz 08-06-2012 04:12 PM

It's real! Minn Kota is coming out with a 185lb thrust 48 volt trolling motor just for this 25' boat....that's what the hold up is ;-P

2ndamendment 08-06-2012 07:25 PM

Look for the 1st showing of the new 25' blackjack to be next year during the late boat show season.

A 23' Frontier is being planned but will be out at some point after the new blackjack.

The draft is the same. Not much bow rise either.

Tran is a nice boat but doesn't compare to the BlackJack. I fished out of one on Trinity and got beat up and soaking wet, but hey, it went fast ;)

coastalobsession 08-07-2012 02:29 PM

I getcha... Liner vs roller edge. Just putting it out there.

lavocat 08-07-2012 05:11 PM

As a BlackJack owner I can tell you it was bought for fit and finish and quality. It fishes WAAAAY bigge rthan any other 22ft boat. As for the talk of the 25ft, IT IS COMING!
