Been watching DuckCommander videos on YouTube, think I might grow me a beard out this winter. Getting the itch to kill some ducks pretty bad after watching all the videos.

I literally couldn't sleep last night. I had teal buzzing by all night. I was tossing and turning, sweating. Had to get up in the middle of the night and take a dump I was so excited. My wife had to take the baby in the living room to sleep cuz I was keeping them both awake. She said it's time for that sh!!it to hurry up and get here so I can calm down lol.

My wife told me the same thing that it needs to get here so i can shoot some teal and her life can get back to normal,cause it's all i talk about. Lol!!!!!!!!

I've been sleeping in the blind I posted about since Sunday bathing in rice pond water and brushing my teeth with teal poop and Johnson grass hoping that being one with nature will better my odds.... Yes that smell is me! Don't like it? Tough go hunt somewhere else!! Lol I think I'm as ready as I'll ever be. I don't have time but make time to think about it but at night i sleep because I trick myself into thinking if I am sleep deprived I won't kill any birds. Try it I really think it worx. Really tho this is the most prepared I've ever been I know where they roosting and it ain't in my field which some think is bad but it's really good because they have to fly over me to get to catahoula or lacassine and the field they are in they not touching because they gonna farm crawish it'll be left until november. So no one gonna run em out they get shot it's easy retreat. Duckgogetter depending on who's hunting I may have an opening or may even Be able to get away and hunt with ya. Pm me if you care to discuss I know you don't know me but I'm just a guy that has a passion for huntin and fishin.

Picture the sound of small jets 10' over head then you hear slashes of water everywhere followed by more of both and goose bumps hit you! Still 2min from shooting time can't killem! Anticipation leads to adrenaline leads to more goosebumps leads to BOOM! First shot they all jump sounds of whistling wings and the smell of burning gun powder leads to the war we call OPENING DAY!

Want to talk crazy? How bout getting up and going hunting each morning and not killing ANYTHING! And STILL waking up that next morning to go hunting because you know in your heart that if you didnt go, then that would be the day the birds would be there. Thats me last year lol. New story this year fellas!.......I hope.

i usually shoot 2 3/4 #6's, but this year i bought a case of #7 xperts.

I had a blind in gc in 2006 and we killed 9 ducks the whole season, and every saturday and sunday my truck was in the driveway at the lease hunting. I'm ate up with it, and love it!!!! Come on saturday!!!!
