Great day on Indian Lake

great sacalait bite today.same as last report,7ft of water on the tuplo trees with blue and white tube jigs.kept 32 and probably released another 20.the bite is usually strong before a front and lasts until the wind shift.As always good luck to all.

It's about 45 minutes from Lafayette and 6 miles north of Ville Platte. It's on private land but open to the public to fish for a small launch fee. It's one of 3 small lakes on the property,which is closed during duck season,I grew up hunting and fishing here.Beautiful cypress and tuplo trees and averages about 10ft at full stage. |
