Evis is enjoying this.

If you don't like the word sensor then take it up with Casey.

And if you feel the need to make comments towards Evis, then take it to the gill net.

Add academy to the list. Pulled ARs off their website.

Called around Lafayette today just to see and Dave's, Bullets and Bows, and pawn shops were all sold out.

southern151 12-18-2012 10:05 PM

I'll have answers by the end of the week as to what I'll be able to do.

They'll go back to the manufacturer and will be distributed to another dealer at a much higher retail price with a likely 20% re-stocking fee from the manufacturer.

By 1-13-13 these guns will likely be illegal to purchase new along with any mag over 10 rounds. They have the motion on their side right now and will run with it as long as they can. There are numerous congressmen/women who have vowed that their first order of business in the first 2013 congressional session will be taking these "war-type" weapons off the market, along with magazines capable of more than 10 rounds.

They're nowhere to be found right now. Trust me, I've been looking all over as well as a friend who has been in the business of fine firearms for years.:help:

I don't have an ar15, but I'm glad I bought what I did when I did. $20 dollar increase per 500 rounds 7.62x39, $13 dollar increase on mags and $3 increase per 20 rounds .30-06 in a matter of hours after I purchased

You can believe the democraps will take advantage of the gun sales over past two months and show they are making economy better..... its very sicking and sad what happened in Connecticut but this will create a spike in economy to make them look good but also give them a good reason to cause panic for gun owners and buyers

Montauk17 12-19-2012 06:42 PM

Just saw on FB railside in broussard will have 10 ar's for grabs on christmas eve.

Big Kahunaz 12-19-2012 08:37 PM

Picked up a stag ar 15 today with optics
Trying to get an ak bc u can't break the damn things so I figured it'd be good for the long run

bmac 12-19-2012 09:04 PM

Friend at work went to Academy yesterday. He said that they have taken the rifles off of display but they will show them to you if you ask for a specific weapon, eg "Colt AR-15". He said they will not show anything if you just say "AR". That sounded really fishy to me but thats what the guy said...

Just saw an email from Cheaperthandirt that they are resuming firearms sales. Apparently customers voices were heard. Now only if we can our voices are heard by the crooks in DC.

Cheaper Than Dirt! will Resume Online Firearm Sales Pending Policy Changes

Cheaper Than Dirt! recently announced that it was temporarily suspending online sales of firearms pending a review of its order processing and procedures. Well-known for its ability to process and ship orders within 24 hours, online sales have skyrocketed to a point where it may take up to 72 hours for firearms and other items to ship.

"In light of recent events, we believe it is prudent to review our policies and procedures to ensure we can continue to provide the products and firearms our customers demand," said Chief Operations Officer Roberta Wilson. "We will resume online sales once we update our process and continue as we have always done by shipping firearms only to FFL dealers."

Ms. Wilson closed with, "As a long-time supporter of the Second Amendment, we will continue to serve the needs of the firearms community while ensuring our unsurpassed level of quality and customer service."

mcjaredsandwich 12-20-2012 12:15 AM

Nice. My order is scheduled to arrive tomorrow.

This is crazy literally every single place I have searched for AR15 parts/guns is sold out...i mean everything. I was at gator guns today and it was a revolving door of walkins and phone calls "do you have ar15s??" of course they have none and do not know when they will. Its amazing that this controversy has caused a craze...don't even get into ammo...its done as well. Prices are inflated (simple economics supply vs demand) Some jack nut was selling a $800-900 AR15 for $2500...****ing ridiculous...

Yeah, ctd failed to ship my 7.62 ammo in original order, got email today saying its en route. Prices have gone up over $40 per 500rounds since I purchased.

jdm4x43732 12-26-2012 10:09 PM

I would like to get ahold of some more .223 ammo but what I have on hand should be sufficient for a minor zombie appocolypse / civil war with the democrapps.

SULPHITE 12-26-2012 10:13 PM

tell you what if the ban does not pass...(just feel like this admin will push it thought IE healthcare reform )

You will get a damn good deal on an AR...otherwise...your poop out of luck and those with cash (like in NY or other ban states where cash will get you permits for guns) will be able to afford them...

Anyone else see that a newspaper up north published a map of registered gun owners so "the neighborhoods would know who has a gun and who doesn't"?
