Did you order one? I am visiting my parents and just went to Cabelas and there isn't an AR style rifle to be found anywhere. No guns, no ammo, no clips...

300 blackout is a pretty cool round.

Just bought one for my 4 yr old son. I didn't plan on giving it to him for a couple of years but I am itching to shoot it.

Ray 12-28-2012 09:32 AM

My co-worker has a FFL and said the 20+ distributers he buys thru are holding the AR guns like a ransom. They know the price will sky rocket way above what they pay for them. THey are looking to make a big profit in a couple weeks.

Kind of dumb , if they are dealers and the guns are ban! Then a dealer can not sale them legal to anyone

So why hold a gun???

If a dealer does sale a ban gun and it gets traced back to him, then he could do serious jail time

The guy who I'm dealing with is a gun dealer and is trying to sale and push as many out the door he can because if they get ban . He can no longer sale them !

A ban won't happen in a few hours, dealers will have plenty of time to sell legally before the ban goes into effect, and cash in..

I'm not following you around and bashing, but most of what you say makes no since.

Tell me who your dealer is so I don't buy from him. Watching School House Rock back when the Bears won a Super Bowl doesn't make you an expert by any stretch.

Wrong. Production will be stopped first. Grandfather clause will protect arms in circulation. I could be an arse right now and hold my last two for 2 k each but, I promised them so, I won't go back on it.

Btw, since no ar was in the school shooting, they will likely back off of the rifles and go after magazine sizes instead.

No one asked to you to buy nothing Pilgrim !!!!

Sounds like your ButtHurt

Ray 12-29-2012 01:12 PM

Just saying what his distributers are tellng him.
WHy make 50% on a sale instead of 200%?

They can wait till the day before the vote to ban, and put them out there and sell in one day.

Ray 12-29-2012 01:13 PM

I can do just as much damage with 2 semi auto hand guns and 10 loaded clips.
The anti gun lobby is too dumb to understand that it is the weak minded who are doing this, not a wicked looking gun.

Pilgrim? Can you explain what this means? I see you use it a lot, and take it as a compliment based on the definition.

Butt hurt was pretty good too, original for sure

what about 308? 300blk is a good round but ammo may not always be readily available. 308/7.62 ammo has been made for close to 60 years and there is plenty. 300blk was pretty much made because it can be suppressed well. good for short range but thats about it.

Hopedale Hustler 12-31-2012 09:39 AM

300 blackout is not a smart round to get your battle rifle chambered in unless your a seal or spec ops and your weapon is suppressed...that's what it was made for anyways....id go with a .308 amazing round

From his profile pic, I'm guessing he only knows about "short" range weapons. The .300 blackout is an ok round, but not nearly as versatile as a .308. I own both and if one had to get dumped, it would be the .300 blackout.

southern151 05-31-2013 12:31 PM

Not picking here but, why would you need a flashlight on the side of something that is designed to shoot 800-1000 yards or, it that a laser?

That thing looks HEAVY!!! Who's the base rifle manufactured by?

inchspinner 05-31-2013 12:38 PM

Its not a flash light its a green designator, looking through the scope its like night vision, zoomable from a laser to a cone, i got two of them and coons, pigs, yotes dont see it, you can see the beam over 5 miles literaly, not sure who the base is, yes its heavy but long range prop up gun

I'm gonna have to look into something like that! My 308 weighs about 18lbs. I'd hate to pack that sucker somewhere but, if you give me a rest, whatever is down range is in TROUBLE!:work:

Who makes the designator?

inchspinner 05-31-2013 01:19 PM

Stalk tech, made in SanAntonio, ill post pics of mine when i get home

Most of those style guns weigh a ton. I am looking at getting a 6.5 creedmoor built and it is HEAVY but it will shoot lights out at 800+

I have a designator made by laser genetics. Nice unit. Many cool uses. ;-)
