I signed up. I just hope it makes a difference. What I mean by that is, when you've got someone like Obama threatening executive orders as an option, what can the People do? That was the obama supporters biggest argument, "Obama hasn't proposed one new gun law!" I wonder what they're saying now? The more I think about it, the more angry I get.

When the libs call the NRA "a very powerful lobby", that means they fear and loath them. Anything a liberal fears and detests, I wanna be a part of it!

They have never called me.

This is the reason I let my membership lapse. I got mail or a call it seemed like once a week wanting a donation to their legislative lobby

Paul the NRA would call my house at least once a week. I told them I wasn't interested in donating at the time. Well a week later same thing. Finally I just let my memership expire and they quit calling. If it wouldn't be for that I'd still be in it.

Last year,I went for the 5 year membership. That way Im not getting bombarded 8 months early about my 1 year renewal.

If you value the 2nd Amendment there is absolutely no reason to not join/support the NRA. Special Interest groups control Washington. While your vote may not count for much, your $$$ definitely does...
