Nice slabs Big C. You missed out on a lot of fog and almost nobody hunting. Even less people shooting. We goose hunted this afternoon and got a few groups to work but none to commit. I cooked a killer pot of deer/wild hog roast tonight though. Attachment 45507

Gonna give up on ducks an try for some geese again.

SaltyShaw 01-26-2013 09:34 PM

Thats purty!

Went the day after and there were 6 boats, I talked to 3 and we all scratched......... Threw every bait and color I had at every depth all over that lake with 2 others in the boat doing the same. Not a legit bite!

Wish I could find the beds there, but the grass is so thick on bottom I didn't even fool with it.

Daylate

bgizzle 01-30-2013 02:43 AM

Gotta throw beetle spins with wedge tails or split tails above grass beds pre spawn. Find the right speed that keeps u out of grass and in the mouth of fusg

simplepeddler 02-04-2013 07:33 PM

Man, I want to be you when I grow up
