On a serious note though, I'll be one of the fools waiting in line looking for a milspec bcg to complete my build. I ordered one from DSA last week but it's backordered for 6 months and they won't answer the phone or return emails to cancel the order. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! They show everything as in stock. I have a DPMS commercial one coming in on Friday until Bravo Company gets more in stock. |
Ill be in line Sat morning.....
I'll be there Sunday.
You better be ready to pay out the wazoo!
Anybody standing in line yet? If so how bad is it looking?
Not yet. Ill be there around 8

People gonna be pissed once it hits capacity and FD starts 1 in 1 out! Just hope that starts after me!!!
Hopefully the insanity dies soon, as the mad dash (and the internet) is what's driving up prices. I've heard from several sources that people are sleeping in their cars in academy lots to be first in line for ARs each morning. They are buying em for $1200 and turning around and selling em at shows for $3K. I work by an academy so all this week i drove by and witnessed it with my own eyes.
If the laws don't change, then a lot of people will be left holding the bag. The gun dealer i use has 2,000 mags on order and ARs from multiple vendors and he's scared to death they will all come in the same time... |
You didnt see him counting?
2000?! That's a lot of mags! I've got 200 on order but, most are for friends anyway so, I won't be shocked too bad when they do surface.

Well it wasn't a total waste... I picked up a charging handle and a Magpul MOE forend to wrap up my build. I also got a couple 7.62x54R cause my nagant is my favorie gun to shoot. Picked up 4 boxes of 556 and a couple USGI mags at outrageous prices. Luckily I expected a good f-(kn so I lubbed up before I got there!!!
I also broke the door while leaving. Guess I need to quit hitting the weights ! Also got to meet the famous Dink! |

People are going overboard....we might stand a change agaist a zombie attack but if the fed decides to go to war with citizens we stand no chance. Hell they don't even need bodys they got drones! I am pissed I can't even buy a .22 round to go squirrel hunting.

From what I saw, ammo went from expensive, to rediculous. 9mm at Walmart(when they have some) is 12.95 per 50. I saw some for 49.95 per 50. Cheapest I found was 29.95/50...so thats what I bought to go with my new Glock 19 G4 that I was lucky enough to grab. $575 which I considered not great...but satisfied. It was the only Gen 4 I saw in the place. I'll take my chances and wait on Walmart for more ammo. BTW I was fortunate enough to be #8 through the door :)
