I picked up a few from pack n paddle Tuesday , they were not even on the rack yet and can't wait to try them out.

So far we've caught most of the fish under a cork with the Vudu about 18 - 20 inches down. I prefer a small cheap weighted cork. 3 inch Comal or H&H. I don't use the rattle corks, too much fuss and I catch just as many. I like a cork you can remove with out having to cut and tie 3 times! Plus small corks allow you way better distance.

Just left tackle box with a couple packs looks like there going pretty fast.

Don't tell anybody but sparkle beetles are great shrimp look alikes

Yep... Them and salty grubs

If I could only have one bait to fish with it would be a salty grub. I find sparkle beetles work better with a cork and the salty grubs tightlined.

Are you going to make larger ones? Can't cast very far without cork rigged.

Just picked up the last pack of Vudu from The Tackle Box... The only color he had left was the Root Beer but I figured I'd give it a shot. He said they are supposed to get more in later this week.

Ive been catchin on rootbeer and natural... Other guys in boat used pearl and chartreuse... All caught the same.. It didnt matter

Rumor has it a BL guide that frequents this forum went and bought all inventories of Voodoo shrimps in Lake Charles!;) Told the clerk that he can't let the Pilgrims get hold of this bait!

Just kidding, however I did go pick up a few packs to try out. Should be slinging that poppin cork tomorrow in BL. If anyone fishing out there sees yellow flashes streeking across the sky dats me...come on by and say hello!

Vudu Gold color will put a hurt on any of the other colors in clear water.

Stopped by Lake Charles Tackle this afternoon... They still have all colors of Vudu except Natural but they are a little pricey there... About 25% higher than The Tackle Box
