Starting a new job!
 

Well im happy to say that i accepted a new job offer yesterday. Looking forward to having a set schedule instead of this 24hr on call. Wish me luck guys as i hope it goes great!

Yeah ill still be doing inspection. Just getting out of the xray field. Ill be working for Englobal out at Sasol. With all the expansion Sasol is doing i figure its a pretty good time to get in there. Ill be able to learn alot on this new construction.

Wish i could say them same, cause i'm about ready to he-man ***** slap someone at my job.

Lol ive felt that way a many of times. This new mon-fri and off by 3 everyday will give me alottt more time on the water. And off every weekend.

Ditto that! Working with women wasn't as "fun" as I imagined. It's not like all those dirty movies I watched. They just ***** A LOT, and you can't do anything about it.....

Without a doubt, the worse thing about my job is some of the women in the office. I worked my tail off to get to the corportate world to find that women in an office b***** more than your wife at home. And unlike that scenario, you have to put up with it!!

I just got moved to a different unit that is full up with the women. Good lord, they congregate outside my office door and start cackling like a bunch of chickens.

Best advice i can give you all is to NOT TAKE SIDES!!! period. Working in the medical field, i have been surrounded by women 10 to 1. Luckily now i am working in my own office but am surrounded by older women (35-60yr). not as much drama but more emphasis is placed on the kids and who is wronging them and how everything is unfair. I just walk away and stay quiet.

Queen bee syndrom in full effect. I'm glad there aren't that many women in my new building.

I find it funny that yall are b****ing about women b****ing, lol.

I agree 100% on women at work. I can't stand the gossiping, yapping, b****ing that goes on all day, every day. I'd give anything to work with NO women and yes, I know I'm one too but hate the drama hogs

I just got out of 24hr call doing xray myself....damn good money but they can keep it. Working till after 2 am and having to be back at the shop for 8 am is slave work. Good luck with your new job.

Hell yeah thatll work... Ill just be doin mainly ut work at sasol... And englobal will pay for my api certs... So thats the next step

Nice job buddy! Im gonna have to have a talk w/ u this weekend, Ive been wanting to switch fields and my dad has been pushing me, but its hard to leave when the gettin is good as its been.
