Sacs in Henderson

Great day to be fishing. Henderson is starting to turn on. The sacs are on the move. A nice catch from this afternoon, including 1 bass caught on a jig. Caught between 1:00 and 4:00. This fisherman told me, it's about to get NASTY (meaning) it's on.

Got off early today and was able to fish Henderson for a couple of hours, water looks great near the I-10 launch. I was fishing with a black and chartreuse jig looking for sacalait but was just catching bull bream, caught about 10-15 breamAttachment 47811

Nothing wrong with that...fried up crispy tails and fins, good stuff!
|
Montauk. No the cut to get to i-10 is blocked off. If u are running a alum. Boat u can pass just go slow u can see where we been passing with surface drives.
|
Any more updates from Henderson? I'm planning to bring the kids out tomorrow afternoon and would like to get on a few fish if possible.
Thanks. |

I know where to wear out the goggle eye, but have no clue on bass there - any hints are welcome as far as where to go to increase my odds. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Thanks for the report on the I-10 cut. Also the boulevard is wide open and clear. It ought to be a great weekend for fishing.
|
We been passing through the I-10 cut every night to go frogging in prodrive. And goooh get with me. The bass are biting. Just have to hit correct places. Flats. North and south next to cypress trees and a few other places

Beautiful day yesterday and should be a good one today. Saw some nice fish this week but they had to fish a little harder to get them. Good luck wherever you fish today.

Just got back, sorry I missed your question this morning. Yes, like Blackmamba said you can launch and start fishing. Hope to see you soon.
|
Not a problem I was the kayak that launched this morning. Appreciate it and I will be back

The public launch at Butte LaRose was clear, no lillies in sight. Caught some big sacs along the Texas Canal at the pilings. Used nothing but blk/chartreuse hair jigs, toothpick corks.
