lost RODs
Had two rods fall out of my boat from Boones to Heberts landing this morning !
After I put gas they were all in there laying on floor ,pulled up to landing two gone
Two Core 50mgs on H&H rods !!!
Ill give a free trip or $100 reward if found and returned !!

last summer punks were swiping rods out of trucks and boats at cajun fast mart. You go in, they casually pass by grab a rod or tackle box!! Charlie started warning every one. Boones have video cameras? Hope they just fell out and you find them....

I can catch 13" trout all day long. If I got the 600 bucks I could hire I good guide and go catch some pigs.

check the trees down the road at heberts. had a rod pulled out by a tree one time. Some hang low

I had some gear fly out my boat at only 50mph one time. The two that flew out were of major sentimental value. Found one smashed flat on the road. The other someone picked up. Never ever ride rods in the bottom of the boat. They ride INSIDE the truck now

I always put tackle bag and rods in the back of my truck now. Had a 50lb tackle bag disappear one time. Don't think anybody stole it cause I only stopped once and I had a friend with me. But it's hard to believe that thing flew out

And that is exactly what I did... Likea dumbass I never done that before . I hooked up boat @ camp and placed all the rods on floor and last second said let's go get s little gas to make sure
Reed said them rods are laying down.. I said there ok I'm going slow its only about 5 miles to boones... @ Boones they were all in there because mine were tangled up so I played with them while pumping gas. Did not go no more than 45 coming back to lake, guess right wind caught them and gone
We had 6 rods in the boat 4-were waterloo and 2 H&H
Both my HH flew out!!! |

It was epically windy the day I went out. Only took 5 miles with a cross wind and blew the rods out. Same situation tho, was in a hurry and not thinking

If a damn thief wants it bad enough they will find a way. My dad had 15 rods and reels stolen out of his locked rod box in his skeeter bass boat. Talk about a huge loss. Stole it right out of his driveway and he lives in a quiet area. |

Yep, had 3 of my rods stolen there last year. Was in the store for like 5 minutes maybe even less, came out and all 3 rods on one side of the console were missing. :pissed:
Now somebody either stays with the boat or it never leaves my sight. |

I can promise you that it's very possible for a tacklebox to bounce out of the boat. I luckily saw my tackle box bounce up onto my back deck while driving down the road and that thing is atleast 50 pounds. Rides in the truck now. Also had 120 qt ice chest with 40# of ice do the same so now I secure my ice chest to my lean post

I have a hard time beleiving W only has 6 rods, now 4 but will have two more, I got at least 10-12 rod and reel combos but maybe cuz I'm a bass fisher.

I use rods for certain things , topwater ,plastic , hard baits
