Bluechip 05-04-2013 08:12 PM

Back to the topic..... What was the payout for the winners?

slickfish 05-04-2013 08:23 PM

I think they all pay $40g for first place. I'm not certain but w would know for sure. W why didn't you fish this major event on your home waters?

Bluechip 05-04-2013 08:26 PM

I think he is offshore working....

inchspinner 05-04-2013 08:27 PM

I think 10k for 1st and 5k for 2nd..

Texxan1 05-04-2013 08:30 PM

Right on the money there!!!!!!!!!!!

The 40k is for the invitational series.. This is the ShockH20 series...

What does the B/F stand for? I only see it by 5 or 6 teams

Top Dawg 05-04-2013 08:33 PM

I was wondering the same thing

Big Fish

Bluechip 05-04-2013 08:49 PM

Jadams has a BF of 2,91..... they caught 3 fish for a total weight of 15.06

That doesn't make sense...

That is small fish of event

Have Big F day 1 & 2

Small over all

evis102 05-04-2013 10:32 PM

I busted a fish on day 1 and did not fish day 2 so I only had 1 fish weighed for the event. Jared had 2 fish on day 1 and I think he busted a fish on day 2 so he had 3 fish weighed for the event. They only paid 3 places so if you bust a fish or catch a low weight on day one there is not much reason to burn the gas on day 2. It makes for a odd looking final standing but that's how it goes.

Thanks for the explanation.... Better luck next time.

Top Dawg 05-05-2013 06:44 AM

Ok. So b/f I'm guessing stands for busted fish? And I'm guessing busted fish is over 27"?

I guess so.... Considering there were only a few teams with B/F weight. But I'm like you, still confused lol.

Top Dawg 05-05-2013 10:08 AM

I don't know. I'm just asking. I'm still confused

mcjaredsandwich 05-05-2013 10:50 AM

Maybe one that weighed 2.91 and the other was busted? I'm not sure. :help:

Salty 05-05-2013 11:38 AM

How can you bust a fish? It's either 27" or less, or, it's not.

I think you answered your own question

"W" 05-05-2013 01:09 PM

A red can bust for a number of things ... one is you can not have any kind of cuts or roughest on the tail

The tail has to be smooth and perfect..(yes a rule)

Josh had a 4.5 red bust yesterday due to tail beat up looking

evis102 05-05-2013 02:07 PM

They do not weigh busted fish. W is right, you can bust on the fish being over 27" but also if the tail or nose does not meet the rules. It is a very strict tournament so there is no doubt about the fish being weighed.

biggun 05-05-2013 08:26 PM

If I had to GUESS?? Big fish???

Bdub 05-05-2013 08:46 PM

"While some teams with local knowledge stayed close to the launch, the majority of teams that competed came from Texas and Louisiana. Some of the Louisiana teams had planned to make the long run home to familiar waters but found that almost impossible to do with the conditions."

I expected them to run to sabine but how far east do yall think they were planning on running?

Top Dawg 05-05-2013 08:48 PM

Achafalaya river

Bdub 05-05-2013 08:48 PM

Just noticed this was from tour stop 1, oops

Jadams 05-06-2013 05:31 PM

If the tail rule wasnt in effect we woulda had 32 plus damn tails at jettys all busted up

Jadams 05-06-2013 05:32 PM

Attachment 49938 this is a dq fish busted tail

blackmamba 05-06-2013 08:20 PM

Why can't you weigh a fish like that? What makes the tail split and why is that a problem?

inchspinner 05-06-2013 08:32 PM

Rocks......

Duck Butter 05-07-2013 08:32 AM

Maybe the tail has to be in good condition so it shows that someone didn't cut the tail to make the fish under 27"
