Calcasieu river is slowly creeping into my back yard. Majority people got their goodys on high ground. I got a feeling school will be canceled for me :D

I hear you if the oua****a river up here rises another couple of feet Monroe and West Monroe are toast...I live like two blocks from the river

I wish you guys luck; I was on the phone with The Duck Commander Store earlier and they were moving the inventory in the wharehouse. (Wharehouse is on the river)

that water has went easily 15 feet towards the house in my backyard since i posted this.

Hope for sake (and you family's) it doesnt get to high

man we was in a hurry all that is cutting in to my talladega time. had to take there pontoon boat out at sam houston. that was fun in the wind. them boats don't respond that good in the wind..not a whole lot of control

Is it this bad everywhere? I been offshore for a while now... Where is the water coming from? (like i said, ive been offshore a while)

mainly along rivers.South wind. Cameron is bad too. High tide isn't helping either. Storm hasn't even got here yet. Water has risen in back yard

We had a party at a couple of the boating/fishing clubs just East of the 210 Launch.
The water came over the road just north of the 210 bridge going to the boat clubs.
At 7 am this morning, it was about 25 ft. from the road.
At 6 pm, it was at the edge of the road.
At 9 pm, it was over the road, and the tide started going out around 3 pm.
No rain yet in Lake Charles, but it is on the way.
