nice rig. congrats

pathfinder2200 07-23-2013 10:30 PM

You're going to love it. Learn to use those trim tabs because she's light. You can truly get in 10 inches of water too. I've got the same engine combination also. Best of luck and happy fishing!

Montauk17 07-23-2013 10:34 PM

You made a great purchase, very reliable motor and good hull....congrats

meaux fishing 07-23-2013 10:38 PM

Yep looks like you found that good deal

haoward 07-23-2013 10:49 PM

Thanks guys! Was cleaning her up today and was trying to figure the Hydro jack plate and trim, So for the jack plate I would use it when going into shallow water? i

Yes . also good for getting on plane in skinny water. If you put your tabs down it will keep the bow down. They are good for running in chop also. Depending on where its coming from you can use one up and one down to level you off so you ride better. Just get out there and play with it

Goooh 07-24-2013 06:05 AM

Nice ride!

BIGV 07-24-2013 07:26 AM

I think you did well, but our thoughts don't matter, if you're happy with the deal is all that matters.

Can't wait to take her Out this weekend, Taking a Family trip in 2 next sat to Gulf Shores for a week. Should I Drag the boat out there?

If you do make sure everything on the trailer is up to par. Check the wheel bearings for slack, replace if needed. Check leaf springs, have spair tire and to be safe a extra hub with bearings and seals. Don't want to be caught on the side of the road without the solution.

haoward 07-30-2013 09:24 PM

In the process of changing out the bearing on the trailer this week, seem like a busted seal on the back of both front tires.

Montauk17 07-30-2013 09:31 PM

If there is any doubt change all the bearings, races, and seals. If the hub is questionable buy the whole hub assembly with bearings and seals already installed. Not worth the headache to try to go the easy route.
