Tourney Final Number
 

125 people paid, 111 trout, 14 Kayak.

This is a record for our site, great job everyone.

The first place trout team will earn over $1,140 dollars tomorrow, 2nd place will also see close to $600 for us both record numbers even after paying out for the tournament shirts, food and half of the fishing fees going to the charity. 3rd place also pays out and both 1st and 2nd pay in the Kayak division.

We caught a bunch but no size. Prolly 7lbs top 3 fish.

We had 9.30 but was only good for 4th place.

I was fighting through mine. I think I hung over bob's boat more than I fished. Don't ever drink with Preaux... Dude will have you regretting it the next day!

believe second an third place were Texas fisherman. That's awesome!!!

They said they fished Big Lake. Another guide buddy of mine fished the "Big Lake area" and caught 37 including one over 5.5lbs which would have been our fish of the day. He would have had close to 14 had he entered. He and a few others from this guide service were on a good bite today. This person was at the weigh in right before we all left.

It was a rough day no doubt about it but some people were at the right place at the right time with the right skill set. That's fishing, it keeps us coming back.

Where were you today??

Yesterday was my first time on Big Lake and, I was with a guy that knew the lake pretty well. To put it mildly, it was a tough day on the water! We only had 3 trout hit the deck that were legal and, they were nowhere near weigh-in size. I threw everything but my tackle bag at em and, I dang near did that at the end! LOL

Great time with my Texas friends though!

For sure bud. Didn't catch em like we wanted, but sure did talk some trash and had a ball!!! Sure was some pretty water out there yesterday....lol
