Great catch! The wind forecast was definitely wrong today. The bay was rough!! I fished up north and scratched out.

Haoward, did you have to go inside the island to find the fish, or just the north shore?

Inside the island 1st time in the island found some water moving out of a canal and fished that area and almost caught out limit.

with 5 guys and loaded down she did 38mph at 4000 rpm. I think it did great the boat handle the water great and we had her in less then a foot of water coming out the spot we were fishing inside marsh island.

Lol it was kind of hairy getting out that shallow area when we got in it was 3ft when we left it was under 1 did not even notice the watee dropping until we were reaey to leave. Had to use my jackplate and titlt my motor up just to get to deeper water.

Yeah, had a great time but not so much for fighting the crowd of the boat launch. Waited 15 min for a guy to get his stuff from his boat to his truck in the launching lane!

I've not used
my jackplate very much....I usually just leave it in the highest position. Do you guys leave it in the lower position and just raise it when needed?

the manufacturers recommend lowering the jackplate all the way down when trailering. less stress on the plate and the transom. kinda like carrying a load with your arms extended all the way out.
