Had plans to FINALLY hunt in the morning, but this damn rain is screwing me all up.:pissed: I guess I'll have to hold out until Sunday. Anybody planning on braving the rain to make a morning hunt?

you letting a lil rain stop you from making a duck hunt? I'd be out there if I didnt have to work at the farmers market in the morning

That's the problem, it looks like it's going to be way more than a "little rain" and once I see lightning, Matt's @$$ is off the water! 25 minute boat ride in a storm? I'm out!

I'll be out there hopefully shooting some teal this weekend

Man Matt, just lay down if the lightning gets bad. The best hunting is during those breaks of real hard rain. When it slacks off those birds start moving!

That is a very true statment thats when some of my best duck hunts were made of.

Anybody seen any new teal today?

I'm hoping this weather brought some more teal into the area.

with the full moon an this front pushing though they you would think there are some new birds. Idk if we will be able to tell tomorrow i'm thinking sunday is going to be the day you will be able to see the diffrence in the birds showing up.

Paul, we scratched again this morning. Still no sign of numbers showing up in our area.

Bow hunting in the AM....Rain or shine, If its brown its getting skewered.

I thought a duck like rain and water........lmao......just messing with you....however I have done some of my BEST hunting in the rain....both duck and deer....

Well called my brother to see if he was in to go and he recruited me to help rip out floor from a flooded AC......... I'm about to trade that bastich in for a new brother!

Went this morning and didn't even see anything. I'm not liking this to much.

We killed 15 this morning, still not seeing many. Hunted til 9:30. If this front doesn't do it?????

I hope it rains all day and night on big lake!!


10-15inchs would be perfect!!

Make it a point to go on days like this, falling on a weekend is like heaven.

We have lots of birds. Some days they commit, others (like today) not so much. Matt.....always hunt the rainy days!!!
