Seafood Buffet Recommendations

I have family in from out of town who wants to go to a seafood buffet. My dad suggested Cajuntails in Welsh. Does anybody have any recommendations of where else we might could go. They haven't had cajun cooking other than this week in 7yrs so they want to get their fill of it in case it's another 7yrs.

are all of those buffets? I didn't know they had that many seafood buffets still around

thought the seafood buffets were going the way of the dinosaur because of the costs, all we have around here is Chinese buffets

cajunforeman 03-13-2014 12:22 PM

Sabine pass in LC is closed. Although I don't think they had a buffet. Lonaeuxs is lafeyette is probably the best in my opinion.

You must be easily satisfied:rolleyes: That place is tired and old, should be closed down it's so bad. Take them to the kasina at LaBarge, bout as good of quality you will find in these parts.

I believe another seafood place opened where Sabine Pass Crab place was

cajunforeman 03-13-2014 03:02 PM

That is correct but not sure of the new name. P.S, thanks for the spell check. I knew someone would fix it. It's been years since I been there but it was the real deal.

Your frickin crazy dude! Never had Lauberge buffet or any other buffets but Cajun Tales food is solid most of the time.

Thought I saw that on the window and that would make sense that there was a Mr. Bills truck out back

Not sure if the Seafood Palace in LC has a buffet, you would have to call but they have some good grub.

Seafood palace doesn't have a buffet but they're food is great .. If it has to be a buffet, I like lebleu's in sulphur, I also think boiling point has a buffet

Yes, the boiling point does. So does Pitt Grill in Sulphur.

If you can't do great on a buffet all of the time it's junk. Most just don't cut it when it's my chedda paying the freight.

I think we goin to Lau Berge tonight.... I need some crabs n shrimp in my life ASAP

jpcajun 03-14-2014 08:38 AM

The Rice Palace in Crowley is very good as well!

1fastmerc 03-16-2014 08:18 PM

Well we settled on Cajuntails. Not the biggest buffet but it was very good. I can't say that I'll go back with just my wife and kids as it cost us $82.00 before tip. For that I think it should have had crawfish. That's just my two cents.
