Organizing lures in my tackle box
I am in the process of trying to organize my lures in my tackle box and I have always stored each particular type of lure (example: rattletrap) all together in one (or several) compartment box.
This method usually gives me many, many different compartment boxes for the many varieties of lures. Does anyone organize their lures or tackle box any differently? Also, how do you decide which compartment boxes to take along with you and which ones do you leave behind? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I like to put my plastics in gallon zip locks and label the bags. One for senkos, one for flukes, etc.

The true puzzle is how to keep popping cork and double rig setups stored without a mess.

I am putting mine in some Plano compartment boxes but the problem I'm having is I have more compartment boxes than my tackle box (bag) holds. I've seen sum guys just put them in their storage compartments in their boat. Another problem I have is... I don't have one of those pretty & fancy shinny boats. Only in my dreams! this is what i do with my crankbaits, freshwater box is on the left, saltwater is on the right. these are great you can see all of your lures at a glance, find the lure you need quickly, and know what is missing at a glance and, you don't have to untangle 10 lures.
I haven't seen these at academy, I picked up the saltwater one this week at Bass pro in H-town. Caution on the roll up bags, i had mine attached to my seat, the sun bleached half of my soft plastics. Dont leave them in direct sunlight! |

Notice the grab rail, only way to go.

Great stuff Goooh! I like the idea of the grab rail also!
I always try my best not to leave my plastics in the sun ever! Appreciate the advice my friend! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
