My son got a BillyStix custom SPIRALSTIX rod. When I saw it, I then realized why he was so proud of it. It was the finest looking and best feeling rod I had ever put my old hands on. He has a casting rod with a Curado on it....man, that is the "cat's meow".

I would like to have one to go with the Curado that I have asked Santa to bring me for Christmas...What a pleasure it would be to fish with something that fine...I would love to have one because I want the finest there is.

I am more than willing to introduce them to your products Stix. That way, You and I both win!!

I have been inland saltwater fishing for about 6 months now. I have had a blast getting to know the in and outs of the new techniques. Now, that I have learned some of the things it takes to catch these fish I realize that I need some good fishing equipment. I recently tried a friend's billystix spiralstix and man was I surprised at how good some equipment can be. I have fished most of my life and have used a lot of different rods but this rod was different from all the others. I really felt like I was in control when fighting the fish that he had hooked. I could feel every head shake and tail pulse. On top of the fact that the billystix was the nicest rod I have ever fought a fish with it is beautiful to look at. I would love nothing more than to have a rod that was customized with all the things that I love to show others that this is a one of kind rod made just for me.

Once you have received one of billystix new rods after you have spoken to billy and personally designed your own rod you cannot imagine the quality of the rod till you receive it in the mail and its flawless and then you mount your favorite reel and then go fishing with buddies and they find out that your casting lots further than them and your new stix is out performing theirs in every asspect, you realized you,ve made the right decission to go w/ billystix and cannot wait till you can get w/Billy and do it all over again(rod # 2)

Spiral styx

One of these days i will get my paws on a billystyx rod.
Kept hinting to the wife that she could get me one for my birthday .
But woke up last sun morning and no styx???
Not only did i not get a spiralstyx but didn't even get a happy birthday:cry:
Guess i am getting so old that it's time to forget birthdays ( hers is coming up).
Maybe santa will bring me one???

Ray 11-17-2009 08:11 PM

I have bought 4 already, but had to give one to my brother in law.
So, I need another one to replace the one I had to give away,
or my nice set of rods will look lopsided and my rod holder will have
an empty spot on it.

Well the viper rod i got from Mr. Billy exceeded all my expectations so now i would love to have the opportunity to own another one of his fine rods. I have fished with Shimano Crucial and St. Croix Premier for a few years so I appreciate quality rods as much as the next person. I would take his one of rods hands down over either one of these in a heartbeat. But as I am a college student I lack the budget to own more than one right now. I fish with a wide variety of people and so the product would be exposed to a wide base of customers from different cities and even different states when i fish with my uncles around the holidays. Even if I dont win I still want to thank Mr. Billy for making a such fine product, and being such a great guy with all the giveaways he has had and the donations he has made. So give him a call, you can tell he makes a quality product just by talking to him. Anybody that knowledgeable and passionate about their product must be making something worthwhile.

I second that....my only problem is now i want more

longsidelandry 11-19-2009 01:52 PM

I really need another BillyStix rod because righ now I have 2 at my house but one of them is the rod that will be auctioned off at the "Together for Tipper" fundraiser in a few weeks. I just know that my rod will be lonely after that so I need another one to take it's place so that I don't have to stay up at night and comfort my rod while it cries itself to sleep due to losing it's best friend in the whole wide world...Billy, I'm begging you, please let me win this so I don't lose sleep....

Jordan 11-19-2009 02:07 PM

Feesherman 11-19-2009 02:18 PM

Well since I won one already and just love the rod I need to win a bunch more to replace all my other rods! Thank you!

Ray 11-19-2009 10:31 PM

I just ordered another Viper today after fishing this morning.
I want another one just like the one I got.
After 2 fishing trips, I can't believe how well it chunks light weight lures.
My wife said she thought it was too high, until she talked to my friends wife.
He has a lot more rods that cost a lot more than my Stix rods.
This will be my #5 Stix rod. Them's some fine looking rods too...

fritz20 11-19-2009 10:39 PM

My entry could be a well articulated literary masterpiece, but I will save you from biliousness due to my overpriced vocabulary. Truth be known, I am up to my ears in student loans and need a new rod!!!!

"H" 11-19-2009 10:43 PM

I would love to find out what its like to fish with a real quality rod, therefore I'm officially entering your contest.

In the famous words of Forrest Gump "I know what love is".
Give me a chance to fall in love with a Billystix custom rod!

I put together a fishing trip this past summer for a serviceman that was home from Afghanastan for a couple of weeks. I brought all my rods and reels as he nor his dad did that much fishing. Long story short ,some low life scum slipped up to our pier and stole all my stuff. The next day we went out to the lake and I had one spinning reel and rod that had been locked in the camp. Be damned if a shark did'nt hit that pole and snatch it right out the rodholder. I am slowly piece-milling my tackle supply back up but losing those old Abu Garcia Ambassadors was tough. Some of them were 25 years old. Please enter me in the contest. I've never owned a " high quality" rod of that caliber. Thanks, Jeff

well

jeff won lol

speckdaddy 11-23-2009 08:17 PM

ok billy here goes.id be both honored and extremelty appreciative if i got the free stick.i would use it with pride ta show both my support and love for the sport of fishing.i would gladly let others "try" it out ta show em what theyve been missing and to further promote billys fine products.ive seen several stix out there but again, in tough economic times, its hard ta do it all.ill put this rod to the test and really tell how great they are ta help billy move sum more stix. thanks for even considering....speckdaddy

Montauk17 11-23-2009 09:52 PM

I would love to own another stix, just like you said I can't use my other rods since I used the stix. It is one fine rod....when your fighting a big fish you can use one arm and still be in control. Like stated before you can chunk a lightweight lure very far with alot less energy .I've been trying to sell some rods for you Billy, but these coon azzes down here can't get away from the academy return policy. I would also like to get another rod built besides this one,but money is a little funny right now if you know what I mean.
