That call was made by haydels. Funny story behind that call, I was BSin with the owner of Redleg calls and he asked me if I've ever blown a call from redleg, I was like yea the green one everyone owned. You know....

He said dude that was a haydels call. Needless to say I felt retarted.

This ain't no ice water challenge! I use my call as a last resort. When the the
pond, the dekes, and the setup just don't do it then I'll resort to the call. Nowadays boys be blowing those things like they trying to make the honor band. Haha Bounce dat!

The most ducks I've ever killed the guy i hunted with hit the call 3 or times. With a couple little tat-tat-tat on a Haydels Widgeon call.

I see a guy on here clowning the calling, yet he posted a picture of a gaggle of bec croche last year saying the geese were piling in!

Where I hunt we have a good bit of neighboring hunters. You can not call, but then they just go to nieghbors but if you call like a duck. Just quacking and 3 note I guess what they call a content hen or a boss hen then it really helps.

Speckchaser has hunted with me and so has duckgogetter. We don't over call for sure but we do have to call at least on a whistle until they lock up and become hypnotized so to speak. But, we kill a lot of ducks so to each his own I guess. SOUTH wind better watch out them pins come In full force in mass groups of sometimes 50+. Maybe that's y we gotta call though, bigger groups than avg. Idk

Only works on hybrids, if I kill another greenwing speck I'm mounting it.

No doubt..they very few and far between.

Have you ever started to call at geese then out of no where ducks start circling? Coincidence? I think not..
Have had it happen more with pintail more than anything else and if it's just the noise that gets their attention and draws them to you idk.

Have you tried using a car battery?

Throw them in the water to make ripples to imitate moving ducks and diving coots

I've had groups of teal come in while calling specks. But, IMO teal like speck decoys. More than once or twice I've had em swing wide and land with speck decoys.

Killed one of them a couple years ago. Was t sure but my taxidermist confirmed for me.
