Help with big oak trees
 

I'm looking for a tree service company to trim some big oaks. Looking for someone that climbs instead of using a bucket

Tim, let me know who you decide on. I'm picking up 10 lbs. of dead branches a week and I can't get a bucket in my back yard.

My parents have a yard full of 100-200 year old oak trees. they use Jims tree service. They have also used Bob's tree service, and he does great work, but is also the most expensive.

I should have mentioned it's in Lafayette. It's for my mom, she wants to get some bids and get an idea of what gonna cost.

I have a buddy who works at the FireDepartment who climbs and grooms trees on the side. Let me know if you still need and I can get you in touch with him.

Make sure whoever you use is licensed and insured. This is a very dangerous profession. Don't use someone doing it in their spare time.

Bump!! Climbing is not something to do in your spare time!! I sell equipment to these guys and have spent a lot of time watching quality climbers. Awesome and scary to watch- makes my a$& clamp watching. Yes licenses and insurance a must for sure!!

I use Arbor Care for all of our projects. They do a heck of a good job,and have really good prices. Dont call Bobs unless you want him to talk you into using his "special mulch" around your trees too.

if you want trees trimmed and yard destroyed, maybe even a branch dropped on your house or shed then call up green leaf, they are pretty good at breaking things

Yes he is in Lake Charles but he travels there he does a lot in Jennings Crowley regularly
