Oh yea? Us 2... Not as early though and less action all around. Waiting on last group of hunters to see what final count is. Hopefully it's 60 but they are still out so it's not looking so good.

It was just me and dad that got a limit. The other there groups combined for 4 birds. I don't think there was more birds than yesterday but bigger groups. And we shot exceptionally well.

Took till 9 to get 2 limits in Welsh and we didnt miss but a couple....birds were scarce

killed a 4 man limit north of Roanoke by 830, definitely not the numbers of teal im used to seeing though

Built by Reese Marceaux. Google Marceaux's Saddlery. They have a Facebook page. Strap was a Father's Day present. Reese works for my father in law and does leatherwork on the side. His stuff is awesome and the craftsman ship is top notch. That strap should be the last one I will ever buy.

I'm sure we aren't far from you. We had a 10 man limit today. 6 of us by 8 and 4 stayed past 915 to finish up. We are nw of Roanoke

My son and a friend killed 4 at the Wax yesterday. We killed 4 limits at the Delta this morning. Beautiful weather this morning. Lots of Mottle Ducks.

4 of us got 17 yesterday in PI. 5 of us got 18 this morning. Lost a few yesterday. Thought we were gonna limit this am but it just shut off. Not lights out, but we had a good weekend. Should get better as the season continues. Always does.

Not sure what to think, 5 hunters 6 teal Thornwell area opening morning.

Had 4 hunters Saturday finished with 6, 3 of us had 2 short of full limits yesterday. Shot like GIRLS both days. Hunting in grand chenier. My pops in Holly Beach had easy limits all weekend. Spoons and black mallards responding well to bouncing hen..

Pecan Island
Talked to a few people that did good and a few that did terrible.

I'm nw of interstate west of hwy 101 in Lacassine. Shot our limti of birds both days but did not see the numbers I have in the past! Sounded like a war zone in my area!

Definitely least amount of shots I've heard on an opening weekend of teal season in Pecan Island.

Nice job guys. If anyone needs an extra hunter in the blind this week hit me up!

Any reports from sabine nwr?

Talked to one that got skunked in Sabine Reserve Saturday... Not sure how that happens.
Brother in law just South of Reserve got their 3 man limit Saturday.
Myself, my FIL, and my 2 boys brought home 2 ducks from JB Saturday.
My FIL and one of my boys hunted North of Kinder Sunday and had a 6 man limit.

Killed a 2 man limit this morning north of Roanoke by 645, saw double the amount of birds from yesterday, but still not what Im used to seeing for teal season

My buddy and his cousin went to our place in PI this morning and shot a 2 man limit by 7:30.

Did they notice more birds than the weekend? I'm trying to decide if I should make a run in the morning before work at our place in GC. Weather may be iffy though.

Yeh he said they did see more birds. Said they should have been done earlier. Shot bad on two big flocks. I was thinking about going tomorrow too but think I'm gonna hold off till Wednesday.

Birds are showing up in the South Kaplan area now....we shot a 3 man limit this morning. This weekend was slow...9 SAT & 5 on SUN. Gonna game hog it the rest of the week.

Slowed down in Roanoke today. Only shot 6. Number of birds in the area is way down from yesterday

Anyone hunt in grand chenier this week yet? It was rediculously slow this weekend but we managed to shoot a few birds this weekend but no limits...Thinkin about running down there after work tomorrow and hunt for an hour or two..

Hunted yesterday and didnt see much...killed the only 2 birds that came in. Didnt hear much shooting either. We hunt north of bertrand ditch rd

We shot 15 yesterday in Pecan Island north of Rollover Landing. Shot all the birds between 7:15-8:00. Should have had about 20.

Random question, why is teal season open the same and lasts the same time frame for all zones but actual duck season is different?
