Boy there aint many reasons to talk on the phone more than about 5 minutes with a chick.

battery dying, charger gone/broke, got to get up extra early

Just start speaking in half words, half sentences(to simulate dead zone) followed by "can you hear me, can you hear me now?" Then just hang up....
