Sabine vs BL

Why do y'all think Sabine is so much of a better fishery than BL? I mean to me it's no comparison. Sabine is where it's at🎣

"W" 04-17-2015 06:24 AM

For sure Sabine , everyone needs to start fishing Sabine ! Fish just jump in the boat 4-10lbers all day !

latex 04-17-2015 06:28 AM

No way BL has way more fish!!

BassYakR 04-17-2015 06:31 AM

Limits erry day on sabine....

AubreyLaHaye458 04-17-2015 06:33 AM

I go fish BL have a limit in a few hours. Every boat I see people have fish spread out on the front deck taking pictures of limits. Go Sabine everyone has one hardhead. Sabine only has hardheads.

BassYakR 04-17-2015 06:43 AM

#SL4L Bama rig Limit in 2 cast! CGC has been on fire

Sabinelyfe 04-17-2015 07:39 AM

BassYakR 04-17-2015 07:40 AM

Thx for blowing up my holes man. Don't need all kinds of people in that area. Anyone can tell where that is if they fish Sabine.

Clampy 04-17-2015 08:22 AM

Yeah that distinct looking marsh grass.

AubreyLaHaye458 04-17-2015 08:25 AM

I know exactly where that spot is. Got my anchor ready.

Damn. My bad. Everyone knows CGC anyway.

Sabinelyfe 04-17-2015 09:36 AM

It's all good. I'll be catching em far far away from any boat this weekend. I found em thick yesterday

redchaserron 04-17-2015 09:54 AM

All fishermen should head to sabine, BL is just all croakers all the time.

Sabinelyfe 04-17-2015 10:28 AM

Even some big lake guides fish Sabine it's so good. Or bc lake calcasieu isn't good enough. They know it's easier here and it doesn't take much of a skill set

jl8200 04-17-2015 10:43 AM

I don't always fish Sabine but when I do I catch nothing but huge trout, flounder, and reds. I usually limit out on all of them in about an hour. I never catch anything but huge hard heads in BL. I would never go to BL when Sabine is so close.

trahrob1 04-17-2015 12:39 PM

Big Lake is loaded with big trout right now. Everyone should go fish the south bank of West Cove. Nothing but freshwater in Sabine, no trout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ThePinkBanana 04-17-2015 01:27 PM

Sabine is STACKED right now. Caught several #6 at pleasure island and a couple #8 trout in coffee ground cove. Tons of redfish along LA bank in Sabine. Now is the time to get out there!!!

"W" 04-17-2015 02:36 PM

I have never missed a limit once in Sabine !!

Easy Easy fishing ,, fish are so stupid you can fish next to another boat and catch

bigheadboo 04-17-2015 02:48 PM

I've caught trout in Sabine will W was doing figure 8 around me and the other boat that pulled up to each side of him.

fishfighter 04-17-2015 02:57 PM

Make sure you throw it on 80# braid
You will want that when 3 eight pounders jump on it.

fishfighter 04-17-2015 03:54 PM

well

Sabinelyfe 04-17-2015 04:50 PM

PM Jordon

He has been to it more times than any other angler

jl8200 04-17-2015 09:05 PM

That island in West Cove is Rabbit Island. There are areas to fish all around that island. There are a couple of drains that can be fished on a falling tide....

Sabinelyfe 04-17-2015 09:18 PM

Thx. I was looking at a map that shows water depths and contours. That southwest corner looks ideal for big fish. There's a drain and a pipeline it looks like.

Behind shrimp boats in the channel

Gotta use a pop tail though

jlincecum 04-17-2015 10:40 PM

Think we need to do a tourney on Sabine but it will have to have a side pot and pool for number of vehicles broke into at launch. Maybe have a category for the thieves, best loot stringer

SabineSlicks 04-17-2015 11:47 PM

Yea Sabine is on fire right now.....come on out this weekend.....of you can't catch them right now then you'll never catch on Sabine....easy limits.....this past 4 week stretch has been the best I've ever seen honestly

mr crab 04-18-2015 01:20 PM

Yall some got durn fools. Sabine is fresher than the Prince of Bellaire right now. Wassup pox? How was Mexico?

evis102 04-19-2015 03:06 PM

What up naka! It was awesome , can't wait to go back . Finally cleaned the rifles n put them up so the fishing poles can come out!

BuckingFastard 04-20-2015 06:59 AM

Sabine is the best place in the USA

BassYakR 04-20-2015 07:14 AM

Ive heard a couple Tejas guys say repeatedly that #everythingisbiggerintexas

mr crab 04-20-2015 08:31 AM

One thing that's bigger for sure is our willngness to fish different areas, and new bay systems.

BassYakR 04-20-2015 09:35 AM

I have fished Sabine several times this year.

mr crab 04-20-2015 09:36 AM

Bass don't count.

BassYakR 04-20-2015 09:39 AM

Its still different lakes and river systems.... diversity is diversity!
