You have been in a bad slump on the water lately. You already have a kitchen pass to hit the water this weekend. A buddy calls and tells you they filled the ice chests with full limits of barely legal keepers. A couple hours later a different buddy calls and tells you he just caught his personal best...an 8lb'er, but that was the only fish he caught all day long . Both have invited you to join them to go fish the same programs. Who do you choose to go with? The limit of dinks guy, or the 1 big fish guy?

Also i understand the answer is situational. Just answer as if this actually happened to you today.

Ive caught plenty of dinks. I'd literally throw top water all day for an 8lb trout!

For myself....if asked today...I'd go smash dinks.

I would go with the one fish, 8 lb. guy. Happy to throw TW and twitch baits all day for a big one. If it was July I would probably go with the dinks, guy. But in May, big ones are still showing up in the reports.

Word. I just wish i could get an invite from somebody that recently caught an 8. Lmao

My freezer is just about empty right now so I would go with the guy that is catching.

I don't have much experience at the inshore game ... Id have to go and get my line stretched a bit before trying for a single hog all day.

No one in my Family likes to eat any saltwater fish! So bring on the toad hunt!

I would go catch 24 dinks (or 14 if out west) then go for the big girl.

If I caught one speck it would be my first. If I caught 25 specks it would be my first 25. Hell I guess I would fish half the day with one buddy and the other half with the other buddy. That's almost like asking a guy if he like t i t s or a s s more. Some questions just can't be answered.lmao

If he only caught 1 all day chances are you would scratch if you went with him. No pattern to only catching 1 soooo, dinks.

Question answered.... Went and caught dinks....a few solids mixed in. Had a good trip and caught a buncha fish in the howling wind.

Awesome. Nothing like catching to get back in the "zone".
