the trout will be stressed, one good thing is that the water has been cold so they had time to move, most of the fish in the marshes will be in trouble.

That's what I don't like about the weirs. They block the natural passageways that
fish and shrimp use.
Shrimp are the first to die. Then there isn't much for fish to eat. Plus it's shallow and
cold. Bam. Dead fish.

hopefully most/majority of them do! I equate it to the Katrina theory. Why did all those people not get out when told to??? Not all will make it out.

i think he ment the fresh water has already pushed the fish out of the shallower danger zone and moved them into deeper saltier water
