Don't taze me bro'!!!
|
Turns out the Doctor is a convicted felon who was giving narcotics out in exchange for sex. His dirty laundry would not of been let out if he would not of thought he was more important than the rest of the passengers.
|
I think it's one of those Liberal news events
You only see 15secs of a hour ardeal Airline can refuse anyone the right to fly Don't matter race , color, financial status ! It's on their policies They asked him to be moved for over 30 mins and he refused . So this was not Airline security it was Chicago police officers |
Quote:
None of that matters now. Dude is gonna be a rich convicted felon after that settlement! |
Bout to board now
|
In this day and age, why would you mess with security in an airport or on a plane? Seems crazy to me.
|
Ha, heading out Saturday to Singapore on that air line.

If the stars align and you're a decent negotiator, you can have a little spending money for Singapore! |
Play dumb games win dumb prizes!!!! United had nothing to do with the video, that was thug town pd. That removed the man!!
|
I don't see how his criminal history is relevant here.
He paid for the seat and was on the plane when they decided some airline employees deserved his seat. Stupid move by United this will cost them millions. Help me understand why airlines overbook flights. Thank God sporting events have better technology than airlines. Imagine sitting down at say an Lsu game and being told I'm sorry you paid $75 for this seat we also sold it to someone else so get up or we will beat the hell out of you. |
Hotels overbook inventory as well. It is based on an expected attrition or "no show" percentage, and is an attempt to maximise revenue by achieving as close to 100% or better occupancy. In the hotel business one usually has a backup plan to "walk" clients to nearby comparable accommodations in a bad situation. Kinda looks like a manager somewhere put the company needs ahead of customers and skrewed the pooch

It's my understanding that airlines operate on very thin margins. They have no-shows factored in. Sometimes they figure wrong and it's feasible - if a little uncomfortable - to eat some vouchers when things go wrong.

The flight was not overbooked. The flight was full of paying customers. United had a sick crew in Kentucky and decided to bump 4 paying customers off the plane to solve it's staffing issues. They could have put them in car and drove them 4 hours to their destination. They could have chartered a private flight. They could offered up better incentives to get 4 volunteers to give up their seat. Instead they did what any sensible company would do to solve their staffing issues, they jack booted 4 customers off the plane assaulting one in the process. Makes no matter what this dudes past is, no one knew that at the time. He will be compensated nicely and United better hope he don't have any blood born illness or United will pay everyone on that plane A LOT through that class action lawsuit. They could have offered some decent incentives to get volunteers, instead they lost over 200 million in the expected stock plummet.

Also, United sucks. Their flights are always delayed or you sent on the runway for 20-30 minutes before or after your fight. I fly them only went I have NO other choice. |

|
Why is everyone on the boycott United train??? United did not beat this guy up, Chico pd. "Thug pd" beat this my up. United turned the problem over to them when he refused to move, this is not United's fault people !!
|
Quote:
Yes, it's United's fault. They did not follow their own procedure. If it wasn't United's fault the CEO wouldn't be apologizing |
Quote:
Come on man, seriously? How is this not United's fault? They allowed it to get to that point. They were several other options they could have made, beginning with not giving the boot to paying customers to fix their own staffing problems. Up the offer to have people voluntarily give up their seats. $800 wouldn't entice me at all even if I weren't in a rush. Had they bumped it to $1,500 - $2,000, I promise you people would have given up their seat, and with a smile on their face at that. It's called customer service. Then the CEO had the audacity to call it "re-accommodating" their passengers and then when that got the masses riled up even more, he tries to place the blame on the cops? This POS should be out of a job by the end of the week. United has it coming to them, and I hope it hit hits them hard. |
Quote:
I am not trying to say that it was handled right by any means! But united employees did not beat the man up the cop's did. |
We fly United a couple of times a year from Lake Charles to Los Angeles. The difference in fares flying from LKC and from Houston were pretty close. There was no justification in driving to Houston, leaving the car in long term parking, and having to drive home when we returned.
Recently they jumped the price of the tickets by about $100 per ticket each way. That is $400 for the two of us. We will be looking at going to Houston and flying on Southwest from Hobby. |

You read it, it's a whole different ball of wax once he boarded the plane and left the terminal. |
Dude had many chances to get off , Chicago PD ain't got time to play with a guy on plane
They offered $800 plus hotel room to get off it was not like they were just saying get off. The airline has the right to refuse anyone as any business does . I'm sure after 30mins or more talking to guy the PD said move or be removed |
Quote:
Not even PD's jurisdiction. He was on the Airplane. TSA should have been involved. United = Wrong and they gone pay!!! |
Quote:
Dude wanted a fight .. I'll give you a prime example I needed to make a claim on my boat insurance so I went through all the procedures When I get down to payment they tell me "in the fine print " it don't cover what I needed it for So I raised hell and said why not I pay $1600 a year and so why not cover that issue ? Guy said it's in the policy you signed ! Bottom line nothing I could do but if I went to that office and raised hell and said I'm not leaving because I paid for insurance blah blah How would that end ? |
Quote:
Then why is the CEO apologizing?? For your reading pleasure http://finance.yahoo.com/news/united...173844672.html Can you say PAYCHECK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Quote:
Because it's an image thing not a right or wrong PR nightmare Funny how they only show 15secs of video but not the other hours before ? I bet he don't get what you think he will They will settle with him but for small fee any thing over couple 100k they will take to court where he will lose by jury Because it will be all facts not 15secs of phone video And bottom line is he signed the fine print |
Quote:
LOL you didn't read the article yet. Like I said, once he's on the airplane it's a whole different ball game. Read it dude. |
Quote:
Now that's funny as hell, a jury will wipe the floor with United. United will never let this see a court room. He will get paid and a LOT!! |
All in the writing !!
Don't matter board or not Dude will never win in court of law Never !!! He signed it and should of read the fine print !! He better take the 50k they offer Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hahahahaha ok man, you gone see. |

I'm not an attorney, but I don't have to be to know this cat will come out smelling like a rose. I'd love to hear any attorney's opinion on this particular situation, if there are any on the site. I don't see United or Chicago PD ever letting this get in front of a jury. |
Quote:
Agreed. Dude is gonna get paid. And nicely. Can't find the link to back it up, but did hear on W&J that one of the other passengers asked for a $1600 voucher and was laughed at by United....Gonna wish they'd paid that now. |
Quote:
Only a dim-witted lawyer would take this to court. |
Quote:
|
The thing that got me is no one was willing to stay in Chicago another night not even for 800$ What does that say about the city?? Cant say I blame them either.
|
LADP had way more video beating Rodney King than they have CPD beating this dude
Your right it probably will not see court because the DR probably don't want to bring up his passed . But he ain't getting no Millions or close to it I promise that .. CPD don't have to negotiate they can use removal force ! Your talking about the most corrupt PD in USA Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Quote:
OMG dude really??? Apples to Bowlin balls huh? This man committed no crime. The cops aint getting sued United is. His past, or passed, has absolutely ZERO to do with this. No bearing whatsoever. You've lost your marbles. |
Quote:
Dude didn't not follow rules He would not leave So how would you make him leave ? Dude was resisting ! Keep us updated on how much money he gets Dude ain't getting crap ! Other than little black eye for CPD Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Dude didn't break any rules. I'll be sure and bump it up when old boy cashes in. |
Quote:
Read clean as day Yes he broke rules Did not obey the airlines request after they tried number of time repeatability Kind of like at the Bar Don't have to go home but can't stay here !! CPD don't play We put a boot in your azz it's the Chicago 0 hare way !! |
Quote:
I know what you posted. I know what the rules say. But you don't listen. Those rules change once the man boarded the plane. You don't want to hear it tho. YOU GONE SEE!! |
W Court doesn't matter do you know how many civil cases make it to trial? VERY FEW. United is not going to want their polices or treatment of customers to become public record. The plantiff would find other similar cases and United would find themselves in a world wind of issues. I promise you this guy will get a check and he should IMO. Can you imagine United trying to defend why the cheaper tickets were the ones kicked off and how that might discriminate, etc.... Pay that man his money and they will.
