That's why you aren't allowed to comment on a fishin' report...only the one that posted the thread can comment.

Reel Bender 01-16-2010 10:47 PM

What is funny is.................... some of the one's that bash have slayed a heck of alot more fish than most of us over the years.

And the others just like to stir up a bunch of ----.

Bender, that's kinda what I'm attempting to do......:smokin:

Reel Bender 01-16-2010 11:38 PM

Actually, it got so bad in the past they eliminated reports entirely.
Eventually they brought them back but did not all responses to be posted. The bashing was hilarious.

Guys would bash someone to smithereeens for catching and keeping fish. They acted like they had never filled a cooler or made a meat haul.

Reel Bender 01-16-2010 11:39 PM

Well, post a pic of your lil buddy I'm sure you'll get some action.

I remember the guy with the 17" trout that he claimed weighed 4 lbs. That was hilarious. Me and W were kinda guilty of "bashing", I guess, but that one was legit.

Reel Bender 01-16-2010 11:56 PM

Yeah, on something like that they deserve it. But, not when someone catches a limit of keeper fish and posts a pic of it.

Now this one may draw some fire.

LaAngler 01-17-2010 12:08 AM

i enjoy catch and release but i can't bash others for meat haulin, i've hauled my share for one lifetime already. but i will bash people like W who is just a poser who tries to play both sides of the field.

Can't tell ya it is TOPSECRET.

Salty 01-17-2010 12:15 AM

I don't have a problem with them guys or anybody keepin' limits. I throw the damn things back cause I don't eat 'em much.

Reel Bender 01-17-2010 12:18 AM

But they bash people for keeping a limit all the time.
And since they have aged gotten the urge to fill the cooler up out of their system they are pushing reduced limits.

I doubt there's anything wrong with Texas' trout population.

Reel Bender 01-17-2010 12:31 AM

I do know that some areas are experiencing a lot of pressure and the numbers of saltwater fisherman has exploded. Not convinced to reduce limits cause if you do it will never go up.

They reduced the red limit and I believe it needs to be raised and the slot changed. Those suckers have taken over my pier at night. It is nothing to see over 50 of those suckers in the 15-17 inch range. They are so thick they have run the specks off.
