a few questions.........Quickest way R U A millionaire? If not how old are you? If your 35 or younger call now you should have one by 70..... |
Spicers was $1200 a year, but I believe it has gone up
|
I just had a lift installed at my new camp in Hackberry, the cost was about $2,600 from Lun-Mar (just up the road on 27) just for the lift. I was on the list at Spicers for a while but didn't get in before my camp was completed.
I stored my boat at Ship-Shore near the intercoastal for about six months, nice place. |

alright

I've been on the list at spicer's now for about 5 years, stayed in their motel rooms a lot, spent a lot of money there on bait, ice, gas, etc. over the years. NO BOAT SLIP YET!
Pretty much give up on the idea. I agree with you, it gets old pulling my boat from Baton Rouge |
Yeh I hate pulling mine fro
lafayette. Especially when I start going 3 and 4 times a week during the summer. |
Check at Ellendors - (Ship to Shore) - they still have some spaces. No boat lift, but it's only a few hundred yards from the launch.
|
I talked to the lady that owns Ellendors a year or two ago.
I couldn't afford her rates, don't remember exactly but I think it was $200> per month. |

I think see has here phone number posted on a sign just south of the Ellendor Bridge.
Might give here a call & just check. Someone on this site (I met at Pete's, from Texas) had his boat stored there. Maybe he could give us an update if he reads this thread. |
I'm there. It's worth it instead of hauling down the highway. Includes power and water so I keep an old frig there for ice and drinks and it's easy to wash the boat down. Some improvements are being planned at the Park I understand.

Call Mr. Arnie Natalie, he is the developer at Heberts..

Olmsted Shipyard has a couple of strap lifts, covered, but you will have to leave from Contraband Bayou. Long run to Big Lake.
