what do yall use for storage of all your jigs. I recently boat a worm pouch. didn't take long and i had it full. was just wondering what yall use maybe i could get something else... i used to just keep bags in my compartment but was very messy and i never new what i had
That is as good as anything.
I usually take them out of the bags they come in and put them in some ziplock bags. That way they're still in a bag but I can then put them in a plastic tray in my tackle bag and have them sorted.
ill take 8-10 packs of bait and put them into 2 gal ziploc bags. all my bags r organized by color and what type of bait . that way when ever i go fishing i only take the bags i need. also i know what bags to bring because i know what baits produce better at different places!
I've got a bag like the one on the top and its a mess...i've got too many baits. But it works good. just can't over stuff it.
guess ill just stick with what I got maybe get a few more
yeah I know how you feel...looking for a cure all solution too...geuss I'll stick to the bag...I need to get a new tackle bag too crap...

Here is what I use. I store more bags of plastic baits in the end pockets.
This is the large H20 express bag.....it sells for about $ 55 at Academy. |

They get mixed in with the Top Dogs, Spooks, etc. |
You can get some good canvas bags at Harbor Freight for about $5 in the tool section.
Then go get the plastic tackle drawers from Adacemy and put them in the $5 bag. |

I have had mine in a plastic grocery bag in the helm seat until last night. I bought a new tackle bag similar to the one Gerald has above. I got most in there now. I had a lot more than I thought a plastic grocery bag can hold. I put them in the plastic drawers that came with the tackle bag.
I also have a big $4 canvas bag with everything I need(GPS, towels, toilet paper, spool of mono, bug spray, sun screen ect) and a small $5 canvas bag with a zipper for with my fillet knife, elect. knife, fish scaler and a spare set of elect. knife blades. When I unload the boat, I just take the 2 bags and my tackle bag out and I am finished. |
