Hey guys, my nephew is having surgery tomorrow in New Orleans to repair some damage from a bad car wreck he was in 11 years ago...He was only 5 years old at the time and stayed in ICU for 6 months...He had a trach put in his throat to allow him to breath at the time because one of his lungs collapsed and has since been paralyzed...He's been through A LOT because of this wreck, but a couple of months ago, he had a fluttering in his chest and didn't know what was causing it...Turns out after testing his bad lung repaired itself and is now functioning normally:D He's always had trouble breathing and speaking normally because of the scar tissue and the lung, but are saying that after the surgery his lung capacity will be back to 100% and will be able to talk normal for the first time since before the accident...there is a slight risk he could lose his voice because of the scar tissue being near his voice box...I know the power of prayer and know everything will be alright...But he's still my nephew, so all prayers would be greatly appreciated...thanks guys!:)

UPDATE!!! He had his surgery today and everything went great...he's breathing normal for the first time since he was 5...he's having to learn how to eat again because of the type of surgery, but as soon as he woke up, he was wanting food :D Should be out in the next day or two and be good from here on out...Wasn't a big deal surgery, but surgery is surgery; thanks for all the prayers guys:)
