Me and my wife were on the Flounder one time and some knuckle head with a kid
sitting on the front of the boat came wizzing by us and he had the whole river to
run around us. I shoulda chunked my lure towards him.

That's what I do. If you don't have enough common sense to go around or stay a reasonable distance away from me then you WILL get a lure thrown AT you...not just in the vicinity but directly at you!! :pissed:

SULPHITE 03-11-2010 03:00 PM

yellalilyslicker 03-11-2010 05:53 PM

cmdrost 03-11-2010 05:58 PM

Man....expectbigspecks and I were both fishing a certain bank one day (2 diff boats) and some dude in a champion came blazing between us. We were about 2 casts from the bank. That was the worst I've seen!

PUREBAY2200 03-11-2010 09:32 PM

Spook to the head???? I'm bringin a sling shot and sone marbles next time I Wade.... Lol!

exspeck big specks 03-11-2010 09:55 PM

Yea I remeber that Chaz

We were both on some big fish that day the only two boats in that area keeping it quiet all morning. Then here he came on a b-line down the bank, shook my head.. The majority of fisherman are respectful but that small % can ruin a trip.

Last year I was fishing South Near the ship channel in a thick fog, with my fiance and I kept making the same drift till all morning catching big trout all morning, when a small 14ft. aluminum with 4 guys coming cruising right at me, granted there was maybe 100yards of visibility with the fog, before I know it, he is off my bow 50 ft. We were only in about 2ft of water so his 15hp motor started scatching reef making the worst sound I have heard. By this time I was in awe! THen he screams," hey is this the ship channel!!" I started laughing so hard I nearly cried, I pointed him East towards the weirs and said luck #ucker!!!

Needless to say the rest of that drift was unsuccessfull, and those big sows moved off that flat.

Hey Exspeck, remember the guy before daylight the morning of the shootout last year.:*****::*****::*****::*****: I was about 200-300 yards from Exspeck & him & his crew were forever more laying a cussing on some dude running in right on top of them! From 300 yards it sound like they were in the boat with me!

Reel Bender 03-12-2010 08:30 AM

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, maybe it was your old frien RR and his new buddy!!!

speckinabox 03-12-2010 08:53 AM

about 2 months ago i was workin the bank and i was casting to the bank and a guy and his dog came in between us :pissed:. Lets just say he has a pretty good Super Spook with him now.

Purple Back 03-18-2010 08:25 AM

By the way I forgot to tell you thanks for the spook!

LaAngler 03-18-2010 08:46 AM

just remember guys it's usually best just to ease on to the next hole. now calling someone out is fine, but when it gets time to fight it aint worth it.

Asterisk-Rich 03-18-2010 11:00 AM

yep, last year we were fishing around the old jetties when some douche trolled right inbetween us and a flock of birds, purposly cutting us off from the flock. dont remember what bait i was throwing...but it was in his boat! if i had a cannon i would have sunk his sheit!

LaAngler 03-18-2010 11:08 AM

i was fishing some birds two years ago, had a guy troll up and start casting to the exact spot i was casting. hooked my line, i reeled my bait in and clipped his line..lol

Raymond 03-18-2010 11:42 AM

I was working on a set of birds in Oct when two "Silverbacks" in a grey Triumph with T-Top heading to the weirs run right through those birds.:pissed:
I could only guess that they wanted to get there before their Skrimps went bad.

Bruce the same thing happened to me behind Lambert one day but the second time I wraped up all of his line and tied a knot in it and threw it back at him.:smokin:

Me and a buddy were headed into the landing at West Cove late last summer after fishing hard all day. Dumb luck - as we're approaching the crab pot maze, there is a HUGE set of gulls working. Three casts nets three nice trout..... We quietly circle back around are getting ready to work the set again when out of the channel comes some big arse bay boat. He ABSOLUTELY has to see us.... we're plainly working a set of birds and he's got plenty of room to quietly ease around us.

No. He drops the hammer. Gets up on step and roars right through the whole shooting match. Trout? Gone. Birds? Gone. Motivation to live? Gone.

It was after that trip that we mounted this by the trolling motor on the bow.

LMAO I need one of those too

drewmar74 03-18-2010 04:14 PM

It works pretty good - only problem is that you have to make sure not to step on the hot brass if you are fishing barefooted.
