caught my first specs ever today. Thanks to my partner for showing me the (how to) on specs. We ended up with 17 specs, 6 reds, and 9 flounder. My best day yet.

Hope to catch some next week. School out for spring break and I had to take off work to stay home with kids. So I figure we go try our luck next week a couple of times. Hope I do better now that it's begining to warm up. Have had that kind of luck in a while.:smokin:

I have to give props out where they are do. Thanks to big trout advisory for taking me on this awesome trip. Conditions where terrible and John still put us on the fish. I'll be happy when I know half as much as him.

Tony no problem any time im fishing out of a boat you are welcome. Your a good fishing partner an will grind all day even tho the bite is slow. good fishing bud.

They were using butterfly jigs at the jetties in a south wind..
