The first on the 2010 SFA Pro Speck Series is in the books. Thank you to all that came out there this weekend.
Here are the top 5 teams after the final weigh-in:
1. Josh Hall & Justin Duncan 20.18 lbs
2. Don Chauvin & Tom Turner 15.16 lbs
3. Eddie Berthelot & Terry Hawkes 14.53 lbs
4. Jeremy Waltrip & Chris Edwards 12.42 lbs
5. Sam Sellers & David Billeaud 11.17 lbs

That jack crushed that bomber........by far the biggest fish I ever caught on 10lb test

No pics of jack....hooked hit little after 12 and. Gave up at 1pm...had to get to the weight in....I would say she was 50 to 60lbs and I have never fought a fish that damn tough... We had it at the boat 10 times and 10 times it almost spooled me,,,,unreal

9.91 lbs thats 4 fish only weighin in fish 1 out of 2 days

im not gonna go into "what ifs" but we took a chance and made a run last minunite for saturday . we soon realized that we made the wrond decision sat. so sunday we followed the original game plan and caught decent fish . so if we would have stuck to our game plan and went to our spot saturday as well not just sunday i believe we could have place in the top 2 -3 our 4 fish was heavier than the 1st place's 5 fish today

It was a great time and MJ and the SFA guys did a great job....

I know Bob and I had a good time! We only caught one fish but we beat a guide from Cocodrie.:*****:

it was great meetin some of u guys down there. and waltrip def. got schooled by the behemoth jack crevelle lockness monster bomber eater! i def. didnt think our fish were gonna hold up today! they did by 5 pounds so ye. i had a f%$kin blast

I'll try to post some videos tomorrow. Josh and I hauled in 4 today and finished right behind POX. Felt pretty good after the day we had yesterday!

If I wouldn't have blown my damn motor and we didn't have to fish out of a kite with a boat attached to it... we'll at least we woulda looked good ;)

its true there were two boats that zeroed both days and one was a guide from cocodrie...

what did big fish go?

Man, it's hard to imagine that a guide, fishing his home waters, zeroed for two days. How is that possible?

fishing was tough...but i know who i wont be calling for a trip... take all those weights and subtract .5 lbs for each live fish bonus so the winning boat had a 1.5 lb fish avg...

biggest fish was around 4... they didnt weigh individual fish

that 1/2 pound bonus helped us out for sure. but hey we stayed consistant and got 5 both days so im not complainin ya kno. all the salty cajun guys were awsome company i enjoyed fishing with all of u.

we enjoyed fishing with you too man. y'all kicked some butt this weekend.

appreciate it man. i was tough but ye. dude sunday had yall trolled left instead of right to where we were yall would have killed em. we stayed there the whole day hitn big reds and specks,lol

well now you are just rubbing it in. are you going to fish the big lake stop?

nah not tryin to. no ima fish the slidell stop though. i wanna see the weights from big lake though for sure. they will be heavy.

Does anyone know how the rules are going to be for big lake as far as keeping 1 speck over 25?
