Thought I would post a few pics from some recent trips we have been taking with Saltyflyexpeditions. The big ones are 27 and 32. You can imagine what a thrill this is on the fly rod!

Just saw the pics on facebook.....that is some big boys!

One more with me, didn't have a boga that would go over 15 but I think she was in the high 20's

HOSS!! Bad azz spots on that one. I always wanted to get a big bull with unique spots mounted. Is that poxxy's boat?

yeah that one would have made a nice mount. if mike would have centered the photo better it would be on my wall in a frame.

Congrats for making the spotlight on shallow south site! I bet you are pumped up,I know I would be. And to think a short time ago you were just venturing off into the marsh. Pretty cool bro,your a natural at the fly fishing gig!

Man Lucas, I hate looking at your photos and reports. I miss fly fishing bad. Even though I never caught much. Actually 1 small red. But I enjoyed the satisfaction

Awesome pics. What flies did you use on them? I have never caught a red that size on the fly, but hope to one day.

Honestly this time of year they seem to be pretty hungry. I have caught them on crab patterns and shrimp patterns. Main thing is to find the school, that's the hardest part.

You laugh, but I am waiting on word as we speak about tarpon being off the coast of Louisiana. I may be able to make that happen too.

Oh we have tarpon. Just hard to find. Dude caught one in lng.. one in prien.

Tarpon breed off the coast of Venice they are there right now. I will be on tarpon with the fly soon.
