Less is better. Just enough to cover you. And break up ANY straight lines. Remember. Nothing in nature is straight or has 90 degree angles

I used the 3D cut blind material from cabelas. Build and used my blind for two years now and holding up fine. With the 3d cuts, you can stick other limbs and grass to break up the top line of the blind. I also have a piece of material I keep loose in the boat that I can cover up the top opening with. Only leave holes open for shooting.

How are you going to anchor that material on the sides to keep the wind from blowing it?

I guess you have room to mount the engine?

I am going to put a piece of heavy gauge wire to wieght it down on the bottom side of material. i seen someone elses done this way he said it worked good. also this is just my base i am going to put somemore on top.
the motor will fit the anchor point for the blind is on the seat and when the boat is in motion blind will be folded down.

h2o i was thinking of that for the top. did you use the stuff from cabela's for that

is this the material you used

LSUh20fowler 08-04-2009 06:40 PM

Thats what I used. Once you put in on, if you see that its to dark or light for your surroundings, you can take some spray paint to lighten or darken the appearance.
