This past weekend opened with the sound of blasting shotguns as fast flying blue wing teal zipped through our blinds here in southwest Louisiana. Teal are very fast flying ducks and you can unload a shot gun pretty fast trying to catch up with a flight. I consider Teal to be the best eating especially fried whole in hog lard. YUM YUM - A few years back Max. Guy and I missed first place in the annual DUCK OFF by eating our entry before the judging.
