Not too many big ducks today but the teal action was fast and furious, big flocks all around made for some quick action.I guess when the clear skies come back is when we will start shooting Mallards and Greys again,as you can see I elected to go hunting and friend went trout fishing and limited in an hour in the Hache.Good Luck.

Great hut, I'd take a limit of teal over anything else any day.

I fish out there and noticed y'all have a big hole and was wondering what shot shells y'all throwin at em?

That's what I started shooing this year and it's like night and day from #4s. Hardly any cripples.

Thinking about trying 1's.

Call it what you want. But bet u wish u do what I do to kill this limitAttachment 60433
;)...... We manipulate levys but not around blinds. It's just a thought about a ducks depth perception. It seems to work as far as keeping ducks low and them not sliding

On a side note y'all think this blind would kill birds? Or you think they'd flare off bc it sticks out like a sore thumb?Attachment 60434

I know that blind can kill birds. I've seen island blinds kill as many birds as any other blind. On a cloudy day with a good wind you can kill ducks kneeling down in the water if you don't move a whole bunch and scare em off.

Big C send some of them our way, last 2 days have fallen off and not seeing many birds in our area

Our blinds looke like bgizzles. We need some new birds. What we have now are blind shy

Marsh been weird. Best blind I've ever seen in icy 4 one day and limits of mallards and pins two days later

Decoy movement and less calling been key. Once they look sorta interested quack is only thing needed. Well, grey duck jibberish helps a ton as well!!!

open? Right now not very much, but in a few weeks when the geese get thick they will wipe out all the rice in our field. There is a blind near mine where the whole cut is open water and they were doing pretty good a couple weeks back

Grey ducks don't speak broken jibberish? You ever heard a flock of Greys exited? Just curious
