BEST SPRING IN 3 OR 4 YEARS IS PRODUCING GOOD CATCHES OF TROUT AND REDFISH

Limits of Trout and Redfish continue to come to the cleaning shed putting a cap on the best spring we have had here in Hackberry in the 3 or 4 years. A combination of good weather, live bait, clear water and a few working birds has been the answer. Drifting the oyster reefs in big lake with live shrimp under a popping cork has been the most productive along with the area around commissary point on the east side of the lake. Redfish are still very good at the jetties and along the south bank of west cove.
