Best non-skid cleaner is Attwood Non Skid Deck Cleaner.
Just rinse the deck, squirt some on and brush till it foams up.
Then rinse off. I am not a big fan of Attwood, they make a
lot of cheap junk, but their non skid cleaner is about the best
I ever seen for a cleaner that won't wipe the shine off the gel
coat. It is actually pretty cheap. Get it at Walmart in a dark
blue bottle.

Most other hull cleaners are good enuff for me. I don't find any
that are any better than another.

Just my opinions.

When you wash the hull, use a mop type brush or a soft brush.
If you use a stiff brush, you can make microscopic scratches.
It will dull the shine over time. Use the stiff brush for non skid.

New bass boat - Galvanized trailer? If painted it will not last long in the salt. Flush motor with fresh water after each trip.

Any good car wash soap will do fine for washing. Meguiars, Blue Coral, etc - DAWN dish soap will take all wax off, so know that. Avoid bleach if at all possible, as it will make fiberglass chalky over time.

A few more ideas for you:

Get some CorrosionX (Red can) and spray all under dash electrical connections, switches, TM plug. Get the green can HD CorrosionX and spray everything on your motor power head (take cowling off first) :-) http://www.coastalcorrosionx.com/

Starbrite makes some good products for boat care - Academy carries them.http://www.starbrite.com/subcatalog.cfm?CatName=Marine

Rejex is a great fiberglass sealer/polish - not a wax per se http://www.buycorrosionx.com/ccp1-ca...FZJe7AodPU2ttg

Meguiar's NXT 2.0 is very good too. http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/detail/MEG+G12718

And the PlastX for windshields. http://www.meguiarsdirect.com/detail/MEG+G12310

Finally, BTS makes good stuff too - http://www.btsprotectant.com/

Hope this helps.

Rejex is a great polish. Keeps water beaded up and running off the hull.

the boat will get in some salt but where i launch at 90% of the time is a fresh water launch. i will be running thru fresh water back to the launch but i still run the motor with water whe i get home.

For tough stains tje best is toilet bowl cleaner and ajax. I parled under a pine tree by mistake and tried everything to get the sap off.
