I'm bout to quit again, last time I made it 3 months n started sneaking em every once in a while ... Now back to pack n a half/ day

jdm4x43732 09-11-2011 03:40 PM

fishinpox last time I quit it went 4 yrs smoke free, then started sneakin em and then smoking when drinking and then picked it back up like I never quit.

Montauk17 09-11-2011 03:48 PM

Going on 5 months smoke free for me....first 2 months were tough, but now I can't stand the smell of em. It's nothing more than a mind game, once you decide you really want to quit it is easy. Truth is I really liked to smoke, mainly when I drank. Got tired of spending money on something that was killing me. Made up my mind and went for it cold turkey.

By experience, there is no way to have one here and there. Been there, done that. As soon as I was having one here and there, I was having one here, there and, everywhere! Wish I had never picked em up!

Yeah..went a week with my blu with a real cig...had a couple tonight at longcasts house with the stickem rods get together. Doing better just having something to puff and inhale. Thats the deal breaker

Been 16 months since quitting my "12 ounce counter-balance"...

Smoked mostly on the weekends fishing and cooking/drinking outdoors, its tough to do one without the other but you can do it !!!

Even though I was a light smoker, I feel 10x better than before !!!

Keep up the good work :)
