Monday Morning Slam

I helped out Capt Lloyd Landry today with a two boat charter. We knew the winds were going to be howling and didn't really know what to expect water or fish wise! We set out with high hopes of catching anything at all with the winds blowing 25-30 mph. We tried to get as protected as we could and found clean water. It didn't take long and we had a few big trout eating our Green Hornet Matrix Shad's. We boated four and had a few more fall off. We tried only three stops for trout then switched focus to reds. Fresh bait shrimp under a cork produced a couple reds and flounder. We moved and moved and finally hit the mother load of reds while fishing a drain coming out the marsh. The guys easily caught 50 plus reds keeping our limit and leaving them biting everycast. We also had some bay snapper join the party!! Turned out to be another incredible day, what a blast with these guys. Thanks Capt Lloyd for setting it up.
