I too hope Conor wins, but unless Connor can somehow hit him, Mayweather will just dance around all fight and win by decision without mark on him.

i'd love to see Connor take him to the mat and rip off a arm before they could stop it. lol

Probably going to buy it here. I agree with jopete, I think mayweather will run the whole time and win by decision but I sure would love to see McGregor knock him out!

Boring fight. People who want to believe are going to be disappointed.

Much like the last presidential election, I wish they'd both lose. The only way I see Mayweather losing is if the fight is fixed and they want to get paid for the rematch. Which wouldn't shock me at all.


I saw Mayweather's purse is 100 million, plus another 30 mill in clothing endorsments for the night. McGregor gets 30 million.

I thought it was a decent fight. Maybe not worth the $100 but I enjoyed it.

I enjoyed the fight. Macgregor just ran out of gas. He struggled through out the night wanting to go MMA on him but I tip my hat to him for his performance. He gave it all he had.....

A lot of people will call what Mayweather did strategy. I call it chicks**t. What if Macgregor had chosen to use the same strategy (lay back and wait for the big knockout). Wouldn't have been much of a fight with both of them dancing around not throwing any punches. At least Macgregor did what he was paid to do, box. If Mayweather had boxed the entire time like Macgregor did, maybe he wouldn't have had the gas left to land the TKO.
Sure, Mayweather is the better boxer but Macgregor had the biggest heart and gave his fans what they paid for, action. Mayweather was just there for the payday, he had no respect for the people who had paid good money to see a boxing match.

I never expected Macgregor to win, I just don't think Mayweather gave anybody their monies worth like Conner did. Typical democrat only there for the check, didn't want to have to work for it.

Anybody that thought McGregor had a shot was crazy. Floyd is a defensive fighter. He stuck to the strategy he went in with - to dodge punches and let McGregor tire himself out. It worked to a T. He won the fight, like he always does. If that referee wouldnt have stopped the fight when he did, you would have seen some offensive boxing. Floyd was about to whip the hell out of him even more than he was already.

The fight wasnt even close

Floyd doesnt knock people out anymore. Anybody that has ever watched him box knows this. If you bought the fight thinking you were going to watch Mike Tyson style fighting, thats on you. The Manny P fight should have shown you that. It wasnt a very entertaining fight, but the outcome is the same as it always has been - Floyd won, and won handily
