i have a 2 1/2 little girl and last night when we said our prayers before she went to bed we said a prayer for wyatt for him to get better soon. I let my wife read ya'lls story and it brought tears to her eyes.

Crap, I need to get to a PC......

Mediumheavyaction6'6 11-05-2011 09:05 AM

thanks so much everyone! this means more than I can express with my tiny typing fingers. This money will definitely help my wife in I.

That being said, I am going to ask for more prayers. Wyatt is having some trouble with his lungs right now. They have had to up his ventilator settings quite a bit in the last 24 hours. They are not sure what is causing this increase but he is struggling a bit. We have been having a good last couple of days so this comes as some what of a blow and I need the strength of the Cajun Community. Thanks in advance for your prayers and thoughts.

jlincecum 11-05-2011 09:12 AM

hang in there buddy. teach him to be strong by showing him how strong you are.

DUCKGOGETTER 11-05-2011 09:32 AM

Prayers sent that god layes his hands upon little wyatt to give him the strength. Everything will work out.

wetaline 11-05-2011 10:09 AM

Hang in there, Lucas. He has a plan for Wyatt as He does for all of us. Just leave it in His hands and trust in Him. All of you are in my thoughts and prayers each day.

PaulMyers 11-05-2011 12:14 PM

Praying for Wyatt!

Hang in there Lucas. Bumps in the road are to be expected. He'll pull through this.

Prayers sent ...... Stay strong for little Wyatt!

Mediumheavyaction6'6 11-05-2011 03:41 PM

We had a little scare this morning. The doctors decided to change Wyatt's ventilator to a different type that they thought would be more affective. In changing him out he decided to scare the crap out of us by shutting down for a few minutes. The doctors and nurses came in to the rescue and got him back on his feet in a few seconds. It took him a few hours to get adjusted to the new vent but he seems to be adjusting pretty good. I'll keep everyone updated as we get information. This is the first real downturn we have seen so it is a little crazy but we are hanging in there. Thanks again for everyone's thoughts and prayers.

PaulMyers 11-05-2011 03:47 PM

Thanks for the update Lucas! Glad to hear it wasn't more serious.
