Taxes

Is there a certain day of the week that the IRS deposits taxes?
I filed on 19 Jan and it says that my esitmated direct deposit date is 07 Feb. However, I have still not recieved my taxes...

I know. But I thought I remembered that taxes were only direct deposited on Fridays...

Not sure but it usually takes 2-3 weeks once you send info in. My wife is an accountant so she does ours on Turbo Tax and e files them or something of that nature. She already sent them in since I am getting a refund....However, I still paid way too much!:pissed:

I filed on the 16th and i got my refund today. I think you are on the cutoff point for the next refund date. Go to www.irs.gov and check the "where's my refund" link.

I couldn't agree more. It's a rip off to file taxes.

You gave the government an interest free loan, they appreciate it.

I know but a few years ago I got burned....i rather get money back than pay. however, I like to break even. we just adjusted our pay status with our jobs....regardless it is all going to a pool anyway which is more of a waste to me..

Charitable donations and charitable contributions are the way to keep from having to pay in. Clean out the closets and shops and garages and give it to the Salvation Army.
