One fish but still success!

Made a solo trip to some marsh in Chalmette this morning. Cruised around and sight fished for reds with the new flies I have been tying. Only caught one fish this morning but it was on a fly I tied. I saw about 20 to 25 reds (one was a monster), some sheep head and two black drum. I had a really good time and learned a lot about sneaking up on reds. I will get better the more I do this and next time I will bring a friend so I we can push pole around and get on fish better. I had a hard time poling myself around and being ready for the fish when I got on them. I will say this, sight fishing for reds watching them cruise around is some really exciting stuff.
