Good luck....duck hunting leases are hard to come by these day; even the not so good leases. I got lucky and I was able to pick up my marsh pond lease from last year which is about 10 miles South of Kaplan.
Cannot wait for SEPT!

I hunted a buddy's blind in GC a few times last year and were covered in teal in september. 1st split was covered in gray ducks everyday, 2nd split fell off but was still holding birds. His pond was about 15" deep and covered in Wigeon grass, and they wanted in there.

Well it's gonna be work but I'm gonna move some wegion grass from some ponds to the other it's hard work but pays off.

if it's already in some of the ponds and canals i don't think you will have to move any. The hotter it gets the more it grows and spreads just give it some time.

My son is your grandson's age. May be a good thing for him to come and learn what a work day in the field is like! Right now, all he has learned is "working" in Dad's body shop. Lol!
