Throw and Grow

Any thoughts on "throw and grow" seeds?
Don't have a lot of room anyone had success?

I tried to toss some Sudan + Sorgum hybrid seed onto mud flats around small lakes and it didn't take.
Still looking for something that will grow tall and provide cover for ducks and for us to hide in. Might be too late this year already

I used the good ole throw and grow on a small path on my lease last year and it took great. It is too expensive to do a big area but if you have a small shooting lane or want some extra coverage around a feeder it works.
